WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL MINISTER EMBARKS ON COMMUNITY VISITATION WITH AOWIN MUNICIPALITY.

Over the weekend, the Western North Regional Minister, Hon. Richard Ebbah Obeng paid a working visit to some communities within the Aowin Municipality in the Region to familiarize himself with issues and to explain government policies and programs to citizens.

Departing from the regional capital, Hon. Richard Obeng joined the Chiefs and people of Old Yakasi for a durbar. He further proceeded to join the Chiefs and people of Omanpe where he continued to share the progress government is making in the Aowin Municipality and across the Region.

At Omanpe, the Regional Minister also met executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to discuss government policies and programs, after which he departed to Jema and spent the night there.

On Sunday, Hon. Richard Obeng worshipped with the Jema Central Assembly of the Church of Pentecost, after which he joined the Chiefs, Clergy and people in a durbar where he was honored by Nananom, with the title, “Nana )ka )y)” in acknowledgement of his consistent support and fulfillment of promises to the community.

He also went to Assemkrom where he joined the Chiefs and people of Assemkrom at a durbar and later took the opportunity to hold a brief meeting with the party executives.

Hon. Richard Obeng proceeded to Boinso where he joined yet another durbar with Nananom and the Clergy. While at Boinso, he also held a meeting with the party executives to discuss government policies and programs.

While at Boinso, the Regional Minister was crowned Nkosuohene Ebbah I of the Boinso Traditional Council.

He also received requests from the Chiefs for support which he pledged to fulfill in the coming days.
